Accommodation and Meals

In some cases where Gallagher Bassett arranges for you to attend Medical Examinations as they relate to your injury or condition, you may be eligible to claim back meal and accommodation expenses.

Generally, meal expenses are able to be reimbursed if the examination or appointment you have attended is over 100km away from your home. However, its worth discussing with your case manager prior to incurring any expenses to ensure you are covered.

Accommodation expenses will need to be supported by medical information from your treating health practitioner that outlines the medical link to the need for Accommodation as it relates to your injury or condition.
